Pete Loughlin

Pete Loughlin is General Manager @ Lake Tahoe Television and Outside Television in Northern California and Northern Nevada. Pete is also a CA Real Estate Broker, Father to 3 great kids, and husband to the love of his life since 2001. 

When working, Pete helps businesses build effective branding campaigns via a television medium and social platform on the highest-rated television network in Lake Tahoe by using a visual medium from experience in the Television and Outdoor Recreation industry since 1984.

Pete has always enjoyed starting and running several businesses. In fact, by the time he was 7, he had already his first newspaper route. Today his primary focus outside of the home is acting as the General Manager of Outside Television Reno-Tahoe and Lake Tahoe Television which has offices in

Lake Tahoe and reaches viewers in Northern Nevada, Northern and Central California via partnerships with 4 different cable operators reaching over 12.5 million viewers impressions daily.

Pete got into broadcast in 1991 while working for American Skiing Company starting a resort-based Television station to help resort guests better understand current resort conditions, entertainment, nightlife, and dining options while on vacation or planning a vacation. It was not an easy sell at

first to resort, operators, due to start-up costs but immediately paid back the initial investment and allowed the resort to expand destination options and offer more year-round options complimenting a strong ski product offering.

Pete’s favorite part of a visual medium business is the relationships with business owners helping craft campaigns to successfully grow and promote their business because it allows partners to grow their business via a visual medium. Also, every day presents a new partnership opportunity or location to promote, and working with passionate entrepreneurs is a lot of fun and very rewarding, it’s pretty rewarding to work, where people choose to go on vacation.

When not working at the network, Pete likes to Ski, Mountain Bike, Scuba Dive, Photography, and Travel and is very active with his 3 kids and their sports and academic interests.

Pete is a trusted business partner and is known to take on new challenges and adventures. He is often willing to step outside of his traditional comfort zones.

The things Pete loves most in life are family, friends, and adventure.

Pete’s been involved in visual mediums and Outdoor recreation for over 34 years and loves it as much today as the day he started.

A perfect day starts with family and friends. And then continues with passionate co-workers and progressive business owners and finishes off by skiing or bike riding and watching the sunset.
