Dr. David Borges

After moving to South Lake Tahoe in 1965, Dr.David Borges graduated from South Tahoe High School in 1972 and later earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1980. He taught at Life Chiropractic College West until 1984 before beginning a long commitment to local education and history. From 1983 to 2003, he taught Tahoe History to third-grade students and has shared local history with community service clubs since 1986. He has continued teaching Tahoe History at Lake Tahoe Community College since 2006 and has volunteered for many years on the Lake Tahoe Historical Society Board.
