Hillary Huff

Hillary grew up in the mountains of Colorado when kids spent their days roaming the neighborhoods until the street lamps came on with no screens or computers to suck up their time. Ah, the good old days!

In her early teens, Hillary's family relocated to Lake Tahoe. It's not hard to imagine they found the transition from one gorgeous mountain community to another relatively easy. 

As so many of us do, Hillary left Tahoe several times only to realize there is nowhere better on the planet to live, so she kept returning and made the High Sierra and Lake Tahoe her permanent home. 

In her 20's, Hillary worked as an international courier, importing jewelry from Southeast Asia. between delivering important documents by air. She thought she'd live out her life on the shores of Bali, sipping cold coconut drinks, but fate brought her back to the basin, and she decided to start a family with her best friend. With a plan in place, they both decided Tahoe was the best place to raise a family. 

When she's not working on your Lake Tahoe TV News or hosting Tahoe Today or Tahoe Tonight, you will find her enjoying the outdoors, hiking, biking, and trying and failing to ski better than her kids in her leisure time. 

She served on the board of Tahoe Arts Project for close to 8 years and currently serves on the board of the Sugar Pine Foundation.
